Two of Israel’s most ardent advocates in Boston are about to leave the city, but their deep impact will be ingrained on our community for many years to come.

Consul General of Israel to New England Nadav Tamir and Deputy Consul General of Israel to New England Rony Yedidia have worked to foster a new generation of young Jewish leaders, demonstrating how to make the case for Israel in a way that is positive and relevant to each person in our community.

Relationships like ours with Nadav and Rony are especially important in the midst of recent events in the Middle East.

ACCESS, a division of American Jewish Committee, engages Jewish leaders in their 20’s, 30’s and early 40’s to become Jewish global advocates and is proud to honor the Consuls General at a farewell celebration on June 21, 2010 in Brookline, MA.

We hope that you will join us along with hundreds of other young professionals from the Boston Jewish community, members of Boston’s young diplomatic corps, and young professionals from the Rwandan, Latino, and Muslim communities to honor Nadav and Rony and thank them for their countless contributions to the community. We are also pleased to have Consul Generals of the United Kingdom and Switzerland Phil Budden and Pascal Marmier give special remarks during the celebration.
