Did you know February is Jewish Disability Awareness Month? All month long, members of the Jewish community will highlight both the wonderful strides we have made in becoming more inclusive to people of all abilities, as well as the changes we can still undertake to become more accepting and open. In honor of this special month Havurat Shalom and Moishe Kavod House are proud to announce a special Inclusion themed Shabbat. Come join a welcoming community of Jews of all abilities as we celebrate Shabbat in the Hav’s accessible facilities, share a special D’var Tikkun on inclusion, and join in a potluck vegatarian dinner after services. Come prepared to talk about the change you want to see our in our community! The Shabbat will be this Friday, February 21st at 6:30, at Havurat Shalom, 113 College Avenue, Somerville, MA.
