by Bernard Waber

June marks the final days of school, an important milestone for students and educators alike.  The end of the school year is a great time for reflection, to look back and consider all the risks taken, the challenges overcome and the achievements attained.  This time of the year is full of celebrations and acknowledgments and that is why we have selected a book to help youngsters discover how much they’ve learned over the past year.

I first found Courage, by Bernard Waber while teaching struggling readers. To read a description of the book, visit our blog.
