Artsbridge’s flagship Summer Leadership Development program has impacted the lives of hundreds of Israeli, Palestinian and American teens, teaching them how to work creatively across their differences and to develop innovative approaches to complex human problems. Empowered by their Artsbridge experience, students are able to appreciate the narrative of the “other” rather than maintaining the fear, hatred and mistrust that most have lived with their entire lives.

This summer, Artsbridge is happy to be partnering with Xavier Academy to hold The Artsbridge Summer Institute in Clarksville, Tenn. The program will be held for three weeks, with a one-week staff training to be held directly before the program. They are expanding their reach beyond Israel and the Palestinian Authority to include students from throughout the United States, Central and South America, with the goal of adding other countries in the coming years.

Deb Nathan will discuss the exciting changes to the Artsbridge program, as well as discuss her current research on the impact the program has had on its alumni.
