Beyond the Doorpost: Creating a Religious Identity in Your Interfaith Home

March 19, 2015 Wellesley

What gives a home a religious identity? Is it a symbol on the doorpost of a house? Or is what goes on behind the doorpost more important? Join us as we explore how to build a family’s religious identity when spouses or parents are from different faith backgrounds with Jane Larkin, author of From Generation to Generation: A Story of Intermarriage and Jewish Continuity.

Jane writes for Boston-based InterfaithFamily.com and contributes to “The Seesaw” in the Forward. Her work has appeared in the Forward, Tablet, Kveller.com, The Jewish Journal Boston, Jewish Exponent, ReformJudaism.org and other outlets.

Copies of From Generation to Generation will be for sale at the event.
