Brother Sun comes to Temple Sinai Coffee House

Temple Sinai of Sharon will host folk trio Brother Sun at a Coffee House event Sunday, May 4, at 4 p.m.

Brother Sun brings together the singing-songwriting talents of Pat Wictor, Joe Jencks and Greg Greenway to produce music that fuses folk, Americana, blues, pop, jazz, rock and acappella.

The group’s second CD, Some Part of the Truth, recently was named the 2013 North American Folk Music Chart’s Album of the Year, and single Lady of the Harbor was named Song of the Year. In total, the CD, which debuted at #1 on the Folk-DJ chart, had eight songs chart in 2013.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Dessert and beverages will be available for purchase. Proceeds will support Temple Sinai and Mainspring House.
