This spring we’re celebrating ourselves, celebrating our honorees and celebrating TBZ, and we hope you’ll join us!

Featuring the music of Rabbi Micah Shapiro and honoring Rabbi Sam and Jenni Seicol. This event is both in-person and online.

About the musicians:

A prayer leader, songwriter and music producer, Rabbi Micah Shapiro returns to TBZ where he began his career teaching Beit Rabban, leading children’s services and launching Shabbat Nariya with Rav Claudia. His new album, “Zeh Ha-Sha’ar,” to be released next month, joins evocative melodies with nuanced arrangements to draw out deeper meaning in sacred Jewish texts. Watch a video of Micah’s Hashiveini or listen to his album on Spotify and get excited!

Molly Bajgot is a young adult queer Jewish musician, educator and activist living on Nipmuc and Pocumtuc land in Easthampton. As a singer, songwriter and community weaver, Molly writes songs for quenching the soul and melodies to enliven Jewish liturgy.

Rabbi Deborah Sacks Mintz serves the Hadar Institute as director of tefillah and music. An artist and composer, she has collaborated on over two dozen albums of new Jewish music with treasured colleagues, including two albums of her own original music: “The Narrow and the Expanse” (2020) and “Yetzira” (June 2023).
