“Jewish Art Music from St. Petersburg to Palestine and Beyond”

Join us for an open rehearsal with Kol Arev, Hebrew College’s Chamber Choir-in-Residence. The choir will perform a concert of Jewish music ranging from St. Petersburg to Palestine to modern times in preparation for a performance at Temple Emanu-el in Providence on Dec. 3. The rehearsal (and Dec. 3 performance) will feature musicologist Sam Zerin, who will add historical commentary through out the program. Music director: Amy Lieberman. Artistic director: Cantor Lynn Torgove, Can’12, MAJS’11.
