Chanukah is a time for resistance and a time for progressive Jews to stand up for our values. It’s also a time to come together and bring light to dark places.

Join us for the Boston New Generations Chanukah party, featuring a conversation with Haggai Matar, executive director of +972 Magazine. Haggai is an award-winning journalist and political activist. Together with NIF Naomi Chazan Global Activism fellow Ayelet Laytner, Haggai will discuss the new world order of the Trump-Netanyahu alliance, the shifting political strategies of Palestinians and progressive Israelis and the growing power of social movements. Through eight big questions, we will explore how we might use the themes of Chanukah to strategize and act in today’s Israeli and American political contexts.

We invite you to join us for candle-lighting, drinks, appetizers and lively discussion in a community of people who share values of equality and justice for all Israelis and Palestinians.

Please note that the building in which the event will be held is not wheelchair accessible. You can reach out to dalia@nif.org with any questions about accessibility.
