Civil and Jewish Jurisprudence: Where is Bioethics Situated?

This class will explore where issues of bioethics experienced through a Jewish faith and law fall in context of civil law. We will explore cconcepts, legal texts, and real world experience and wrestle with the concept of Dina D’Malchuta Dina-The Law of the Land is the Law as it pertains to health and medical ethics as experienced by practicing Jews.
