Rabbi Yonah Berman is the spiritual leader of Congregation Kadimah-Toras Moshe in Brighton. A native of Teaneck, NJ and alumnus of Yeshivat Har Etzion, Yeshiva University and YCT Rabbinical School, Rabbi Berman is also a member of the Jewish Life Team at JCDS and a teacher in Hebrew College’s Eser program. Dr. Rachel Berman grew up in Philadelphia and moved to Boston to attend Harvard University where she majored in social anthropology. She continued her studies in medicine and public health at Boston University, and she trained in pediatrics at Boston Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital. She is currently a second-year fellow in academic pediatrics and preventive medicine at Boston Medical Center. Her interests include mitigating health disparities for the underserved, specifically immigrant and refugee children, child development, and primary care. Together, they are the very proud parents of Lev Baruch, who joined their family in July 2014. Together, they enjoy spending time outside, and can often be found at the Chestnut Hill Reservoir.
