Express Course: Teen Teacher Assistants

Are you a teenager between ages 12–18? Do you want to learn a few new skills and have a source of quick income? Do you enjoy being with children under 12 (mostly ages 5–10)? Are you good at games, arts and crafts, or STEM? Are you a bilingual: English and Russian or English and Hebrew?

If so, we’d love to hear from you. Here at Jookender we’re now offering an express course for teacher’s assistants. We need plenty. There is plenty of work for you every weekend, holiday and vacation break. You may be able to finish the program in as little as two months. Flexible schedule options are available.

The course includes three two-hour Zoom sessions, three unpaid practice of (2–4 hours each), and three practice days with a modest stipend (also 2–4 hours each). You must be able to attend in-person practice at our Framingham location!

Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of completion and will be offered to participate in our events and classes as a teacher assistant, earning up to $20 per hour. High School students will also receive Community Hours for the unpaid practice (up to 12 hours.)

This winter and spring we will be offering four opportunities to take the first three Zoom sessions, and you’ll have plenty of time to schedule your practice days with us.
