Shabbat is so much more than the labor we can’t do and the rituals we must do. The beauty and power of Shabbat lies in the ability it has to change our identity, if only for a day. Join Dena Weiss and fellow Boston-area independent minyanim for a pair of classes on the ways we shape and understand ourselves on and through Shabbat.

In particular, we’ll focus on the external by asking what is important about special “Shabbat clothing” and the internal by exploring how our perception of self on Shabbat relates to who we really are and who we want to become.
