Seeing our child become a parent is one of life’s great joys. But it is not always clear how best to support our son or daughter in that role while also building close and loving relationships with our grandchildren. We will draw on Jewish wisdom to consider how to be the best grandparents we can be. We will explore ways to find our own roles as grandparents, when to step up and when to step back, and the special gifts of wisdom, tradition and identity we can bestow.

This 3-class series will be led by Margie Bogdanow, LICSW, an educator, coach and consultant. Her work helps adults make a difference in the lives of young people. A Senior Consultant to the Commission on Jewish Life and Learning at CJP, she co-founded and was past director of Parenting Resource Associates in Lexington. She is passionate about finding ways to make Judaism meaningful for people in as many ways as possible.
