The Jewish tradition is a highly verbal one encompassing singing, prayer, teaching, comedy and more but what about those who do not communicate verbally whether from birth, injury, illness, trauma or other causes? This class will study the communal and personal responsibilities and roles of those who do not communicate verbally and will focus on a deeper understanding of accessablity in the Jewish community.
