As part of HIAS weekend recognizing current and past refugees, Beth El member Belle Linda Halpern, accompanied by pianist Ron Roy, celebrates the centennial of her teacher, Martha Schlamme, who was famous for singing “songs of many lands.” Martha spent her whole life giving concerts benefiting immigrants to this country and Belle is thrilled to continue that legacy.
