Join us for a live online conversation with director Talya Lavie.

Upon arriving at their honeymoon suite, bride Eleanor (Avigail Harari, “The Other Story”) discovers that her new husband’s ex-girlfriend gave him a ring as a wedding gift—and she is livid. Eleanor insists that before they can enjoy the glow of their wedding night, they must find the ex and return the ring. A simple mission turns into an all-night odyssey, taking them across Jerusalem, forcing them to confront past lovers, repressed doubts and the lives they are leaving behind.

Talya Lavie is a director and screenwriter who won the Israeli Academy Award for writing and directing “Zero Motivation,” an Israeli blockbuster that received multiple international awards, won six Israeli Academy Awards and broke the Israeli box office record of the past two decades. Lavie graduated with merit from the Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem after studying in the animation department in Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem. “Honeymood” is her second feature film.
