The Lappin Foundation offers a unique opportunity to study with North Shore rabbis in Introduction to Judaism, a free 25-week course designed for individuals in interfaith relationships wishing to learn about Judaism, and for individuals who are considering conversion to Judaism. Participants will study Hebrew, Jewish history, holidays, life-cycle events, traditions, ceremonies, prayer, and Jewish text.
Introduction to Judaism makes it convenient, comfortable and affordable for people to study for conversion and learn about Judaism within their own community. More than 220 individuals have taken the course.
Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings, 7-9 p.m., beginning October 28th, and registration is open. Classes will meet at various temples on the North Shore according to the rabbi who is teaching.
