Set in Paris in the summer of 1942, 19-year-old Irene is a carefree, aspiring actress, working as a theater usher and falling in and out of love. She is also a Jew whose world, and that of her close-knit family, is about to turn upside down. Nothing can break her spirit, not even the growing threat that the Nazi occupation holds over her Jewish family, but what she doesn’t know is that time may be running out. Lose yourself in this theatrical, historical drama that is just as charming as it is devastating.
Also available virtually from May 2-5.
