The Oliver, Ian, and Serenity Wolk Fragile Beginnings program of Jewish Family
& Children’s Service and the Massachusetts chapter of the March of Dimes are
co-sponsoring a conference for any parent who had a baby born prematurely.
Presenter Gayle Schumacher will speak about her own responses to the trauma of
giving birth to a baby prematurely and the NICU experience. She will share what
has helped her and her family cope and thrive over time. Parents will also register
for small group sessions and then come together for an open group discussion.
