Join us for a virtual encore of the film “Karaoke.” Meir and Tova are a middle-aged Sephardic couple with two grown daughters. They live in an upscale suburb of Tel Aviv. After 46 years of marriage, they have resigned themselves to living out their lives in semi-retirement. When Itzik, a sexy bachelor, moves into the upstairs penthouse and invites them to one of his Karaoke nights, everything changes. In vying for Itzik’s attention and affection, Meir and Tova go on their own journeys of self-exploration and, ultimately, transformation.

With luminary actors Sasson Gabay (Shtisel, The Band’s Visit) as Meir, Lior Ashkenazi (Footnote, Late Marriage) as Itzik, and Rita Shukrun (Line in the Sand, Nehama) as Tova.

Nominated for 14 Ophir Awards, with four wins, including Sasson Gabay for Best Actor and Rita Shukrun for Best Actress.
