For over 20 years, the Kesher School has provided an innovative and independent Jewish after-school program for children in Cambridge and Somerville. We are home to a diverse and welcoming community of families and teachers. Our program provides an enriching experience for grades JK*-7 on two days per week (M/W or T/Th) with transportation provided for most Cambridge and Somerville schools. We have a few remaining spots open for each grade, with some classes full or nearly full.

Children at the Kesher School learn Jewish culture and Hebrew language as an organic part of each day’s explorations in a spirited, joy-filled environment. Our innovative curriculum challenges students intellectually while fostering a deep connection with the pleasures of learning, the rewards of active community participation, and the richness of the Jewish tradition. Families are engaged through special events during the year to learn and celebrate together.

The Open House includes a private tour for your family with the School Director and an opportunity to meet with returning families. If you are unable to attend but would like to schedule a visit, please contact us and we would be happy to do so. For more information about the school, please visit our website or contact our School Director, Ms. Dale Norman, via email or phone at 617-576-0830.

*Please note that children must be 5 years old by the time they start Kesher.
