Join Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band for the continuation of their monthly residency at The Burren Backroom! They will be joined by special guests Eden MacAdam-Somer on fiddle and Michael McLaughlin on accordion.

Internationally recognized klezmer ensemble Ezekiel’s Wheels brings passion, virtuosity and contagious energy to every performance. The Wheels improvise with the intimacy of chamber music and the intensity of a rowdy dance band. Featuring original music and re-imaginings of traditional klezmer repertoire in both Yiddish and English, “The Thread” is the third studio album from the Wheels, following 2016’s “Turning Point” and 2013’s “Transported.”

Eden MacAdam-Somer is one of the most exciting and versatile musicians performing today, transcending genre through soaring violin and fiddling, sweet vocals and percussive dance. Lauded by The New York Times as demonstrating “astonishing virtuosity and raw expression,” she is a captivating and breathtaking artist, beguiling her audiences with a style that is truly her own.

Michael McLaughlin wears many hats in the Boston music scene. He has been part of the klezmer and Jewish music world since 1995 as a performer, arranger and composer for The Shirim Klezmer Orchestra and Naftule’s Dream, and more recently with Klezwoods and the Yaeko Miranda Quintet.
