L’Chaim- Three Undiscovered Divas

 SAVE THE DATE for the   L’Chaim Group of Temple Emanuel’s  THREE UNDISCOVERED DIVAS, featuring Broadway show tunes ,Yiddish songs  ,and   Doo Wop  and  pop music performed by three talented  Boston area  singers- Lisa Yves, Lynda Bussgang, and  Marni Levitt on Tuesday, April 8th, at 1pm,  in Reisman Hall at Temple Emanuel, 385 Ward Street, Newton Centre.
           Some of the featured songs to be sung are: Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, 50’s Doo Wop Medley, Andrew Lloyd Weber, and Bei Mir Bist Du Shein. Songs featured were made famous by the great Jewish vocalists Bette Midler, Barbara Streidsand, Carole King, Dinah Shore,  Eydie Gorme, and Helen Forrest and  Fanny Brice. A tribute to female pop stars will include songs from Ella Fitzgerald, Celine Dion,and  Whitney Houston. Seniors- do not miss this program- a real treat!
