A mi sheberach is a traditional Jewish prayer for healing with a lot of room for creativity regarding whom to bless or how they can be blessed. Thus, there are mi sheberachs for just about any person in need of some divine goodness.

The prayers shared in this book, “Mi Sheberach for Mental Health: Cultivating Mental Wellness with the Jewish Prayer for Healing,” were written during the height of the pandemic by individuals from around the world addressing needs and illnesses, both physical and mental, and bringing comfort to those who are struggling with their mental health.

Join us for Mental Health Awareness Month as we mark this wonderful milestone in addressing mental health in the Jewish community. We will hear from Rabbi Bradly Levenberg of Temple Sinai, who inspired this prayer activity and book, as well as several prayer contributors.
