NEW ENGLAND PREMIERE – Russ and Daughters, the iconic purveyor of lox, caviar, and other sublime eats, has been a fixture on New York’s Lower East Side since 1914. One hundred years and 1,800,000 pounds of pickled herring later, the business started by immigrant Joel Russ and passed to his daughters, the “Sturgeon Queens,” is still family run. Enjoy mouth-watering interviews with Hattie Russ Gold (age 100), Anne Russ Federman (age 92), Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Mario Batali, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Morley Safer, and Calvin Trillin.
