“Recognizing the good,” or hakarat hatov, is a Hebrew phrase that helps each of us appreciate the big and small wonders in our lives. Seeing the good in the world helps keep all of us, regardless of age, grounded, thankful, and healthy.

We will read stories about what it means to be grateful and then create a craft. Please bring a new book suitable for children 1-2 years old that contains no religious themes or content for Birthday Wishes, an organization that provides birthday celebrations for children experiencing homelessness. Thank you for helping us spread joy and make a difference!
