Opening Night of the 3rd ReelAlbilities: Boston Disabilities Film Festival
Two men with autism, Larry Bissonnette and Tracy Thresher, embark on a global quest to change attitudes about autism, intelligence, and communication. Their trip takes them from their home in Vermont to Sri Lanka, Japan and Finland.
In Person: From Wretches & Jabberers, Larry Bissonnette, artist and activist, and Tracy Thresher, activist. Joined by Pascal Cheng from the Howard Center and Harvey Lavoy from Community Developmental Services.
Directed by Gerardine Wurzburg USA, 90 minutes, Documentary In English with Open Captions
Pre-screening reception from 6:30-7 p.m.
