Join us for an evening of community building and learning as we hear from NIF’s associate director in Israel, Shira Ben Sasson Furstenberg.

Shira will share her unique story as an orthodox woman on the forefront of the fight for religious pluralism, LGBT rights, and democracy in Israel. With an incoming government that will cater to the interests of the Ultra-Orthodox and Kahanists, where do these struggles stand? What rights are under threat and how is NIF continuing the struggle against fundamentalism and discrimination in Israeli society?

If you are interested in hearing from a leader on these issues and connecting with a community of like-minded young professionals, join our Boston New Generations community for an evening of food and conversation.

Masking is optional at the event and food will be kept ingredient kosher. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Connor Israel, our local NewGen organizer, at connor@nif.org
