Rosh Chodesh is the monthly holiday that celebrates the arrival of the new moon, marking the start of a new month in the Jewish calendar. This summer, as part of our Spiritual Practice Lab, we will celebrate the three months of the summer tekufah (season) with three Rosh Chodesh gatherings of music, movement and Torah.

Join us under the stars in the Temple Israel courtyard as we welcome the new moon of Av. Cantor Alicia Stillman and Yaakov Ginsberg-Schreck will guide us in text study, meditation and song as we practice a Torah of self-compassion and find refreshment for a new month.

This Rosh Chodesh gathering is open to all. Contact Brigid Goggin with questions.
