Rosh Hashanah, First Day (Tuesday, September 23)
- 8:30–9am — Bagels for young families (0-7th grade)
- 9–9:30am — Family service with rabbi and cantor
- 9:45–11:15am — Shacharit service (indoors and outdoors)
- Shacharit (outdoors) — Join Rabbi Katy Allen for a family-friendly walk through Grey Reservation with stops along the way to explore themes of the birthday of the world. Enjoy a bit of poetry and text, discussion around themes of personal change in the context of the more-than-human world, and some time to share the meaning of the holiday within your family or other small group, and hear the sound of the shofar. This walk is geared for families with school-age children but is open to and appropriate for all ages. We will meet in the parking lot and walk to the conservation area together at 9:45. The walk will take place in good weather or light rain; if weather is especially bad, meet in the Kolel.

- 12:45–1:30pm — Lunch
- 1:30–3pm — Musaf (indoors and outdoors)
- Musaf (outdoors) — Join Rabbi Katy Allen for a leisurely walk through Grey Reservation with stops along the way to explore themes of healing our connections to the more-than-human world and to each other. In the context of the woods and the water, participate in discussions of poetry and texts, go deeper during a guided meditation, have time for your own personal contemplation, and hear the sound of the shofar. This walk is geared for adults but is also appropriate for families with older children. We will meet in the parking lot and walk to the conservation area together at 1:30. The walk will take place in good weather or light rain.
