This Rosh Hodesh Circle is a gathering place for folx of all genders seeking spiritual and emotional rejuvenation in the face of climate change, global environmental disruption and injustice. Our intention is to co-create a ritual space grounded in the gratitude of being alive and the resilience of our ancestors.

We will then share our grief, exhaustion, numbness and outrage in response to environmental destruction, which is putting our human family, as well as our broader family in the more-than-human-world, in danger every day. We will close with expression of prayer, yearning and vision for a healthier world.

Our time together will draw upon Jewish wisdom and a process developed for providing emotional and spiritual support for communities facing seemingly overwhelming challenges called “The Work That Reconnects” by the Buddhist scholar and activist Joanna Macy.
