Scholar-in-Residence Weekend with Noam Zion

Join us for a wonderful weekend of learning, good food, warm camaraderie, and joyous celebration as we welcome this year’s Altshuler Scholar-in-Residence, Noam Zion. A renowned scholar and author, Noam Zion earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Columbia University, and his dissertation on Franz Rosenzweig was inspired by Professor Nahum Glatzer. A disciple of Rabbi David Hartman z”l, Noam has been a senior faculty member of the pluralist Shalom Hartman Institute of Jerusalem for 35 years. His myriad roles at the Hartman Institute include rabbinic enrichment seminars and the development of the “i Engage” curriculum on Israel.

“A Guide for the Perplexed Seder Leader, or: How to Liberate Your Seder: 101 Ideas for a Participatory Seder” 
Join us for Sunday brunch and our concluding session with Noam Zion, who will assist us in preparing for the festival of Pesach as he discusses Seder ideas. This workshop is for all ages, Seder leaders and participants, veterans and novices. There is no charge, but please make a reservation by clicking here. The RSVP deadline date is March 18.

Dinner for adults cost $15 and childrens dinners cost $8.
