“Shabbat 101” at Temple Sinai

March 16, 2014 Brookline

“Shabbat 101”  Temple Sinai’s “Shabbat 101” class is a great opportunity for adults to learn more about Shabbat prayer and rituals.  This course teaches the prayers and songs of the Friday night Shabbat service, including those said and sung every week at services and at Shabbat dinners at home. “Shabbat 101” is designed for everyone and assumes no prior knowledge and no Hebrew language skills.  The class meets monthly on Sunday mornings, on the same days as the K’tonton preschool program for 3- and 4-year-olds.  If you have a pre-schooler, drop your child off at K’tonton and then join us 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. for the “Shabbat 101” class.   Both are open to the community and no registration is required.  Attend one class or all of them!   This month’s class will take place on Sunday, March 16,  2014.   Temple Sinai is a welcoming Reform congregation centrally located in Brookline’s Coolidge Corner neighborhood.  If you would like to learn more about Temple Sinai or its religious school, please visit www.sinaibrookline.org  or call 617-277-5888 for information.
