Congregation Beth El invites old friends and new to join us for a multi-generational “Shabbat in the Garden.” This is an opportunity for prospective members to experience the spirit of Beth El.

We’ll start off at 5:30 p.m. sharp with tot Shabbat combined with an all ages sing along and Jewish-perspective teaching on planting and nature led by Scott Newman, Director of Education, and Joel Friedlander. After giving and taking gifts from the garden, we’ll have dinner at 6:00. Sit at a table or bring along a blanket to enjoy the meal in the garden. Services will begin at 6:45 followed by dessert at 7:30. In case of rain, we will move inside, overlooking the garden.

“Join us to welcome summer and Shabbat. There will be fun for all ages, as we sing, eat and pray together in our garden. Come to get a taste of Beth El, make new friends and rejoice with us,” said Rabbi David Thomas of Congregation Beth El.
