Join us for candle lighting and blessings as we welcome Shabbat over the grill to mark the end of summer and the start of fall.

5:45 p.m.: Shakin’ Shabbat for families with young children

This interactive service with Rabbi Barbara Penzner is geared toward current and prospective families with young children (ages 0-8, second grade). Older siblings are welcome.

6:15 p.m.: Shabbat open house cookout for all

Come meet our diverse community, get to know our rabbi and enjoy a kosher dinner for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. We will have hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers and all the fixings! Let us know if you are a meat eater or vegetarian.

If you have friends, family members or neighbors who are unaffiliated, please invite them to come with you or have them RSVP to the temple office at 617-323-0486 or bblock@templehbt.org.
