Please join us for our second SholomPlex, as we continue our new format for Shabbat morning services offering something for everyone!!! Whether you would like to schmooze with friends in the lobby, try out meditation or enjoy a traditional Conservative Shabbat, it’s all available at SholomPlex.

Traditional:
-Masorti Tefillah: Our traditional Shabbat Morning service featuring Rav-Hazzan Scott Sokol. Morning service from Birkat Hashahar to Torah Service with mini-d’var Tefillot by Rav-Hazzon Sokol.

-Masorti Torah Service and Musaf: Our Torah Service lead by Rabbi Bazer and Rav-Hazzan Sokol, featuring Beth Sholom Congregant Torah readers.

Parsha Divers: An in-depth look at Parashat Shemot with our own Carl Chudnofsky, Hebrew College Master’s of Judaic Studies graduate and Me’ah graduate, Dr. Stuart Bauer.

Alternative:
-Being Present in Shabbat: A Meditative Workshop Service
Our own Fredda Hamilton will introduce us to Jewish meditative prayer. The service will combine niggunim ( Chasidic melody chants ), kavvanot ( focusing prayers ), simple Hebrew and familiar melodies with simple meditative techniques.

-Torah, Mussar, and Yoga: How to combine Torah spirituality, Mussar–The Hebrew term from the Proverbs meaning moral conduct, instruction or discipline, and Yoga. Bring your yoga mats and comfortable clothing too. We’re excited to have Rev. Debbie Clark, a certified Yoga instructor and congregants Rosanne Kates and Larry Yarmaloff, dedicated yoga practitioners, lead you in yoga and Jewish spiritual and ethical principals to deepen your connection to prayer.

Children:
-Boker Tov Shakin’ Shabbat for pre-school and Kindergarten with Cheska Komissar.
-Tefillah Shelanu: My Prayers for Grades 1 and 2 with Geri Siegel.
-Apples to Apples Tefillot: for Grades 5-12 with Julie Levine.
-Childcare: For younger siblings for the duration of the services

Concluding Services:
Together in our Sanctuary for the concluding prayers of the Saturday morning service.

Kiddush Lunch:
A “deluxe” kiddush luncheon providing the opportunity to relax, meet new friends and visit with old friends.
