Temple Emunah is happy to announce that in conjunction with Yachad/The National Jewish Council for Disabilities we are now offering two Sibling Workshop Groups!
For 11-14 year olds, we will meet once a month, Mondays, 5:00-6:15 PM, March 7 through June 6.
For 9-11 year olds we are starting a second group that will meet on Wednesdays, 5:45-7:00 PM, every other week, starting March 16.
Both groups are for siblings of kids with special needs and will be led by Stephanie Rohr, LCSW. They will provide a supportive and safe place to share concerns. For questions or to register, contact Leah Sugarman at [email protected] or 617-915-9997. There is a suggested donation of $50/family. Temple membership is NOT required!
The workshop will provide support and a safe place to share concerns, will teach tools for advocating for self and family, and will encourage participants to bring their own concerns to the discussion! This program is co-sponsored by Yachad, The National Jewish Council for Disabilities, and is supported by The Ruderman Foundation.+ More... - Less...
