Join JArts, artist Clint Baclawski and cultural anthropologist Ellen Rovner for a conversation as we shine a spotlight on Chelsea’s Jewish culture, past and present.

“Brighter Connected” will bring the light of Hanukkah to eight Boston-area neighborhoods through works of art created in partnership between a local artist and a community.

Clint Baclawski, one of the “Brighter Connected” artists, has installed his exhibit, “Bough,” in Chelsea, connecting Chelsea’s Jewish past to a modern-day art installation in the heart of the city. Ellen Rovner will share a history of Jewish culture in Chelsea and will talk further with Clint about his exhibit and its present-day connection to Jewish Chelsea.
