Rosh Hashanah stories and demonstrations featuring Beverly Bees.
Celebrate the Jewish New Year with honey! This Rosh Hashanah story time will feature Anita from Beverly Bees. She will teach kids to identify honeybees and understand their role as pollinators and spot the queen in a real observation hive. Kids will try some raw local honey, roll a fresh beeswax candle and perform a mock hive inspection in a beekeeping suit.
Designed for parents to enjoy together with their children (ages 0-6 and older siblings).
Free and open to the public.
Temple membership NOT required.
