Talmud and Midrash
Taught by Rabbi Eliana Jacobowitz
6 sessions, Tuesdays 7:00 – 8:30 pm
February 11, 18, 25; March 4, 18, 25

Join us as we study Talmud in an exciting way, in a stress – free environment. In this class we will focus on a couple of Talmudic texts (called in Hebrew, sugyot), explore the methodology by which the Talmud is studied and learn to recognize the motifs, symbols, language and structure, that will help us decode the multiple messages and teachings in the text. We will split our class time between lectures, chevruta (partner) study, and discussion.

This class is for beginners as well as for those who have had some experience studying Talmud. Attending previous Talmud classes at TBB is not a requirement. We would love to expand our circle of learners.

Multiple class discounts available.
We welcome everyone regardless of one’s ability to pay.
