Join Cantor Idan Irelander for a lecture on the history of Jewish music, which includes many different elements and characteristics. Until the modern period, Jewish music was not recorded; oral tradition was the main source of passing down masoret, cultural traditions and customs.

In this lecture we will discuss the evolution of Jewish music from biblical to modern times. We will explore a variety of Jewish music cultures and sing some Jewish music favorites. This is a great opportunity to schmooze, learn, discuss and sing together.
