Award-winning filmmaker Aviva Kempner (“Life & Times of Hank Greenberg,” “Rosenwald,” “Yoo Hoo Mrs Goldberg”) hits another home run with this amazing, true story of Moe Berg, the major league baseball player turned spy. A scholar-athlete, Berg was a Princeton and Columbia Law School graduate fluent in a half-dozen languages. During baseball’s Golden Age, he was a beloved player and coach for five MLB teams–including 5 years with the Red Sox! As WWII accelerated, Berg began a secret life, spying overseas for the OSS. Berg’s improbable story is told with rare historical footage and interviews with an All-Star roster of commentators.

Director: Aviva Kempner | USA | 2019 | 98 minutes | English.

New England premiere includes Q&A with filmmaker Aviva Kempner and U.S. Senator Ed Markey.
