The class will meet on three Tuesdays March 22, 29 and April 5, 7:30 – 9 pm, with a field trip on Sunday April 10. Rabbi Mintz grew up in Boston and is intimately and personally familiar with several of Boston’s historic Jewish neighborhoods. He will share his knowledge in the classroom and while riding and walking together through the neighborhoods. Among the sites we will visit on our April 10 tour will be a number of significant synagogues (and former synagogues) including the recently restored Old Vilna Shul on Beacon Hill.
