What is the proper balance between looking out for yourself, romancing your spouse, and taking care of your kids? Spend an evening out with your spouse, learning Torah together over dessert.

Rabbi David and Ariel Pardo are the JLIC couple (Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus) at Brandeis University. Rabbi David Pardo received his BA from UCLA and rabbinical ordination from Yeshiva University (YU), with supplementary education from the Isralight Institute and YU’s Center for the Jewish Future. Ariel Pardo also received her BA from UCLA. After college, she studied at Nishmat’s Alisa Flatow program. While on Yeshiva University’s Gruss Campus in Israel, Ariel completed a certificate program from Machon Puah’s Women’s Health Training, learned Hilkhot Taharat Mishpacha under the guidance of Yoetzet Leora Bednarsh. and completed extended studies in YU’s Midrashiya program. Rabbi David and Ariel met in an Intro to Communications class in college and have traveled the globe together. They enjoy working with young adults to build powerful Jewish communities, learning Torah and parenting their two daughters.
