"Valeria is Getting Married (Promotional still)

Christina, a Ukrainian mail-order bride in a seemingly happy marriage, is overjoyed when her husband, an Israeli marriage broker, arranges a match for his wife’s beloved sister, Valeria. But Valeria is apprehensive at the prospect of spending the rest of her life with someone she’s met only twice over video. Her apprehension grows after meeting her overly eager betrothed, and she realizes he’s not the man she’d hoped to find. Unfolding over the course of a day, “Valeria Is Getting Married” tests the contours of identity, obligation, and the expectations we inevitably attach to love.
