Explore the challenges of writing for picture book and middle grade readers in a six-week writing class at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Thursdays, beginning January 22 from 1-4pm. Each week participants will look at a different aspect of children’s writing, including questions of plot, structure, character, voice, and theme. The class will include writing exercises and group critique. Students will receive a detailed instructor critique of projects submitted at the end of the class.
