Yael Gavish proudly presents opening night of her 2019 solo comedy show “Israeli Wonder” live at The Rockwell. “Israeli Wonder” is a stand-up performance interlaced with stories about life, love, experiences as an Israeli living in America, growing up with a very Jewish single mother and many comedy songs inspired by those subjects and more.
All of the above comes wrapped up in one show performed in English with an ever-present thick Israeli accent.
Yael Gavish is an Israeli-born stand-up comedian who began her journey at the age of 15 on the comedy stages of Israel by performing in Hebrew. Today, almost 14 years later, she tries to figure out what her version of the “American Dream” is by touring, performing and exploring the world of “Israeli Wonder.”
