“Simply one of the most beautiful High Holiday services I have ever attended. Cantor Jacqui has done a wonderful job of designing the services. Her beautiful voice resonates so exquisitely. People need to know that this is undoubtedly the best-kept High Holiday secret in the Boston area.”
Ahava, a community serving unaffiliated Jews and those who love them, invites you and your family to High Holiday services led by Cantor Jacqueline Breines.
All services will take place over Zoom, and all services except Kol Nidre will be held in person as well. [This assumes that all is well corona-wise and our 2021 venue remains open.] In person services will be held at the Scandinavian Cultural Center, 206 Waltham Street, Newton MA.
Zoom – Please note that the registration link here on JewishBoston is only for those registering to join on Zoom (not in person), and it will take you to registration for this service only. You will need to register separately for each service. All registration links can be found at Ahava’s website. [website link below]
To register for in-person services, please also see registration link at Ahava’s website.
PLEASE – only register for in-person services if everyone in your group is fully vaccinated. Pikuach nefesh is the concept that saving a human life should take priority over everything, even if this means breaking some of the laws set out in the Torah. It is belief in the sanctity of life, and is a Jewish obligation. Thank you so much for your consideration of others.
Services are open to all. As usual, there is no charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.
Please supply your own Mishkan Hanefesh Machzor (prayer book). You will need this particular machzor to follow along with the service.
