In honor of Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month (JDAIM), TBZ’s Inclusion Committee is honored to host Christopher Willard, Psy.D., a dynamic national leader in education and therapy in the field of mindfulness and positive psychology. Dr. Willard will share insights and tools for managing the feelings of anxiety, loneliness, depression and fear that many of us are experiencing. We have all been impacted by the isolation and stress of life during COVID-19. For those of us who are coping with mental illness, the difficulties may be even greater.

Dr. Willard is author of 11 books, including the highly acclaimed “Growing Up Mindful” (2016), “Raising Resilience” (2017) and, most recently, “The Breathing Book” (2020). A 20-year practitioner of meditation, he has led workshops around the world, given two TEDX talks and appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post and on CNN.
